I'm sure we've all heard the news about Microsoft's reveal of the Xbox One. From what we know it will require an internet connection 'At least once a day.' It will bind bought games to the Xbox account that is linked to it, if you bring it to your friend's house they will be prompted to purchase it at full price. Furthermore, all games must be installed on the hard drive to operate. It comes in a snazzy metro brick shell and looks like a large DVD player. It doesn't contain backwards compatibility so there's no point in holding onto your 360 games. It's being marketed as an 'Entertainment' system rather than a 'game console'. Also Kinect is mandatory now too.
I have to admit though, it was nice of Microsoft to help you decide between a PS4 and a Xbox One. I guess we now know what a dying industry looks like.
